Walking the halls at Microsoft is one thing that Jeffrey has done before. After 15 years influencing key groups at the Redmond Giant, he decided that he wanted to venture into a new venture – consulting. He took his years of sales, data analysis, and channel partner experience and started as a full-time consultant in 2005. But being around that long doesn’t just pad your resume, it means you are seriously connected. So when Jeff’s first client asked for some additional project help, he reached out to some of the best folks he knew – his Microsoft friends. And that is how JeffreyM Consulting began.
Throughout the past five years, Jeff has collected some of the best and brightest graduates of the Microsoft education. Many of his first consultants are still working with our firm and have helped grow it to what it is today.
In January 2010, the firm went from a garage-office to a business with a home in Redmond, Washington. And our team went from a collection of consultants who squatted in various Microsoft cafeterias and conference rooms, to a cohesive team with touch-down workstations (and only the occasional wine bottle cork pop to distract them).
Jeff is now the President of a mid-sized consulting firm with nearly 75 full-time consultants and a network of hundreds more that are ready for new projects. He is still a full-time consultant walking the halls of Microsoft today… and will continue to connect and influence within the campus walls and beyond.
