Our story begins with the golden question – is there an actual JeffreyM? The answer is yes. Meet Jeffrey McCannon, whose humble beginnings in his cold garage laid the groundwork to allow us to evolve into the full-fledged staffing and consulting firm we are today. Founded in 2006, Jeff established JeffreyM Consulting after transitioning from his 13+ year corporate career at Microsoft into the world of consulting. When a few friends from the corporate world inquired about following suit, he brought them on under the umbrella of JeffreyM. These talented friends had connections to talented friends of their own, and an ever-expanding business was born. What should it be called? JeffreyM of course, a nod to his previous e-mail alias. Today, this umbrella spans across the globe, with consultants and clients located far and wide. We house offices in downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Chicago, and now internationally in London – ensuring we are always close and accessible to both our consultants and our clients, and always able to cultivate the fun and fearless culture that is JeffreyM.



We like to remind ourselves that we’re in the people business, and our people are pretty great. JeffreyM houses a diverse assortment of personalities from fitness enthusiasts and sports fanatics, to foodies and manic wanderlusts – and everything in between. We are a unique set of individuals united by passion for our clients and customers.

Jeffrey McCannon Founder & President Jeff McCannon’s consulting empire arose from humble beginnings; working from the cold garage of his eastside home, he grew what is now a full-fledged staffing and consulting firm with offices in Downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Washington. With his vast experience in sales, analytics, and channel programs, Jeff has grown his brand into an elite community of diverse consultant professionals with proven expertise and a love for the fun and fearless culture that is JeffreyM. When he isn’t busy taking over the world, Jeff spends his time with his wife and three children in addition to the occasional golf outing. He harbors a (not so) secret desire to own a farm and restaurant, and enjoys cooking, cabernet, Goose, and French onion soup.
Margo Newman Vice President, Accounts & Operations Margo has helped grow the JeffreyM business through her ability to place the right people with the right projects and strategize clients’ staffing needs. Helping manage the internal operations day to day, Margo has a pulse on everything that is going on at JeffreyM. Her favorite part of the job is being able to work with so many talented people. She loves hearing about the new innovative projects and ideas our consultants have that ultimately inspire our strategy and direction. When not at work she enjoys spending time with friends and her family as well as volunteering for her sorority Alpha Phi on an International level.
Kate Carte Senior Director, Client Engagement Kate leads the strategy for new customer acquisition and manages existing customer relationships. She has over ten years of sales and program management experience working at Microsoft and other local companies in the greater Seattle area. Kate is a proud mom who also enjoys cooking, travel, wine, and dark chocolate.

LaToya Benson Senior Manager, Client Engagement LaToya leads the strategy for new customer acquisition and manages existing customer relationships. With over a decade of corporate experience as a Marketing and Sales professional in the transportation industry, LaToya proved her leadership working with multi-billion dollar corporations to provide transportation solutions and educate companies on supply chain optimization. Since 2013, LaToya has worked as a social media professional, consulting and partnering with small businesses and corporate brands. LaToya genuinely cares about people and has a unique ability to build trust with consultants and clients by listening to their needs, asking the right questions, and following through to deliver effective solutions.
Michelle Ruane Director of Human Resources Michelle oversees all aspects of the human resources world including benefits, compliance, employee experience and relations, and event planning. As the original Office Manager Extraordinaire, Michelle has spent the last several years evolving with JeffreyM, one policy at a time. Prior to joining JeffreyM, Michelle utilized her passion for people and (perhaps extreme) attention to detail in the banking field. Outside of the office, Michelle is an avid runner, dog lover, and wine enthusiast.
Lauren Smith Director of Recruiting Lauren oversees our recruiting department, managing the recruiting team, as well as our talented consultants. Lauren works closely with clients and candidates to ensure that all parties have a positive experience working with JeffreyM. Lauren has been with the company for four years, previously living in NYC and working in the advertising department of Bon Appetit magazine. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, exploring Seattle, and rooting for the Washington Huskies.
Amanda Rosin Finance Manager In addition to overseeing payroll and invoicing, Amanda helps improve some of our HR processes to ensure the employee onboarding to payroll process is most efficient. Prior to joining JeffreyM, Amanda refined her eye for detail in the fast-paced industry of retail. A tennis enthusiast and player, Amanda’s free time also consists of wine tastings, reading a great book, and hiking around the Pacific Northwest.
Rebecca Millar Recruiting Specialist Rebecca is responsible for assisting in recruiting new talent, as well as managing existing talent. Not only does she work with our current bench seeking placement, but she also ensures our active team is satisfied from a career trajectory standpoint. Rebecca works hand in hand with our entire Talent team to offer an exemplary full cycle recruiting experience. When not busy recruiting the best of the best, Rebecca enjoys running along Elliott Bay, exploring new brunch spots, and of course, a good bottle of wine with friends.
Kali Mungovan Recruiting Coordinator Kali assists with recruiting new talent, as well as managing existing talent with a focus on administrative and out-of-state professionals. Kali works closely with other members of our Talent team to ensure our candidates and consultants have an excellent full-cycle recruiting experience. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, dancing, traveling and keeping up with her favorite sports teams. Go Ducks!

Alejandro Aguirre Marketing Services Consultant Alejandro Aguirre is a Sr. Marketing Services Consulting who has been with JeffreyM for two years. Originating as a Community Manager for McDonald's, Alejandro has worked his way up to a Sr. Marketing Services Consultant. He enjoys attending music festivals (Lollapalooza, Mamby on the Beach, Coachella) and traveling to new destinations.
Marshall Mitchell Marketing Services Consultant Marshall is a Marketing Services Consultant and Graphic Designer who works with several clients. Starting out with JMC as a graphic designer, he worked closely with the Microsoft Rewards team (formerly Bing Rewards) for his first two years, and provided them the best content to captivate their audience, which encompasses roughly 10 to 15 million active members to-date. Now a consultant on our Managed Services team, Marshall loves working with clients to help build their social brand to its full potential. Marshall enjoys going to concerts , failing miserably at water sports and the occasional hard cider because beer is an ACQUIRED taste. GO COUGS!
Lauren Bergeson Marketing Services Consultant Lauren is a hard-working southern transplant with a passion for social media. With a background in rhetoric and journalism, Lauren has worked in all aspects of social media - from content creation, to strategy & listening. She has worked with the Idaho Tennis Association, Idaho Stampede, Boise Weekly, Foundation Nightclub and Frontier Communications. Originating as a Community Manager with JeffreyM for Skype, Lauren has worked her way up to a Marketing Service Consultant with JeffreyM, working with Microsoft and Zillow. She hikes, plays her music too loud & enjoys spending down time with her family.
